Reports Functionally to the Regional CFO and administratively to Managing Director main functions are:

• Oversee a team of 13 Finance personnel
• Full control & understanding of the P&L & Balance Sheet.
• Liquidity management & FX hedging (and related risk/exposures)
• Manage the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable process.
• Prepare all financial reports related to government entities
• Work closely with Traders to make improve processes and understand the trading P&L
• Local & National Tax responsibility
• Responsible for efficient and accurate use of SAP as both a finance and business tool
• Primary responsible for the relationship with a JV & P&L preparation.
• Fiduciary responsibility for the physical inventory of the company.
• Reconciliation of commercial activity to financial results
• Work closely with IT to ensure projects are in the best interest of the company and add value with relation to improving business processes.
• Perform other related duties as required by Management

The Successful candidate:

• Fluent in English & Spanish is a must
• BA or equivalent with a major in accounting (desired)
• Accounting qualification/certification (CPA/CMA) is a major asset
• 10-12 years of related experience
• Experience in a physical commodity trading company is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• SAP experience required.
• Comfortable working a multicurrency environment.
• Understanding and practice of IFRS.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance (including hedging)
• Confidentiality - Deal with sensitive and confidential matters
